Adaire O'Brien, MPH

Projects Director

Adaire is the Clinical Research Projects Director at the Cartilage Regeneration Center. She has a Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. She also holds a B.S. in Biology and a concentration in Business from The University of Dallas. Adaire has experience in academic epidemiologic research at Pennington Biomedical Research Center and also worked in research commercialization at the New Orleans BioInnovation Center. She has been working with Dr. Broyles since 2010, developing and executing cartilage regeneration research studies for the knee. Adaire is happy to answer any questions about the stem cell procedures offered at the Cartilage Regeneration Center.


Alisa Hamner, PA-C

Physician Assistant

Alisa graduated from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana with a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2010. Prior to attending the PA program, she attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette from 2005-2008 concentrating in Biology and Chemistry.

Alisa is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners. She is currently a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Louisiana Academy of Physician Assistants, and Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery.

She has been with the Bone and Joint Clinic since graduating from PA school in 2010 and has worked exclusively with Dr. Joseph E. Broyles with a focus in general orthopedics, joint replacement surgery, and orthobiologics.
